Q and A Session With Rev Bev

It was ace to be grilled during a Q&A session with the Year 6 and Year 8 pupils on Thursday afternoon.

This event took place off the back of their studies of Christianity in RE lessons; specifically learning about how to navigate the Bible, the life of Christ, and the Parables of Jesus, and Christian living. I had two fab sessions where I sat down in the Theatre and had question after question chucked at me from some incredibly articulate, inquisitive, and sharp-minded boys and girls. “How do we know Jesus actually existed?” “Have you ever seen God?” “Who made God?” “How can he be both man and God?” “Why did Judas decide to betray Jesus?” It was great to see them thinking so deeply and asking some of the most important questions in life. Of course, we don’t all have to agree on the answers, but it was ace to see how a huge part of school education, (learning how to think and learning to engage with the toughest questions in life) is well and truly alive at Hazlegrove!
