Carols with the Orchestra

A real highlight of the Autumn Term, our traditional Carols with the Orchestra was a treat not to be missed on Tuesday evening.

Our Theatre, bedecked with fairy lights and Christmas tree, set the scene for Hazlegrove musicians, staff and Old Hazlegrovians, who performed festive favourites, adorned with tinsel and Christmas hats. Our enthusiastic audience sang with great gusto, and enjoyed the performances of our Flute Group, Guitar Ensemble and Year 8 singers during breaks in the choral programme. Everyone felt that Mr Sebastian’s mince pies were a welcome treat after such hearty efforts! Huge thanks to the many peripatetic music staff who gave up their time to support our young musicians, and to Hazlegrove staff who joined the orchestra on the night. Your support was greatly appreciated.
