Boarders Begin Their Festive Cheer

Prep Boarding

This Sunday was a fantastic blend of relaxation, fun, and festive spirit. The day began as normal with a delicious cooked breakfast, followed by a chapel service with Rev Bev. The service was lively and interactive. While the chapel service was underway, the Year 8 girls embarked on an exciting trip to Clarks Village. With their pockets full of saved-up allowances, they eagerly explored the shops, picking out special Christmas gifts for loved ones (and perhaps a treat or two for themselves!).

The rest of the boarders then had letter writing before they boarded the minibuses to Frome, where an incredible treat awaited—a screening of Paddington Goes to Peru! With an entire screen reserved just for them, the boarders laughed and cheered as the lovable bear’s adventures unfolded. Returning to school, the boarders enjoyed some free time to unwind in their favourite ways. Choices ranged from a refreshing swim in the pool to engaging in ICT activities or sports in the hall. Some embraced the Christmas spirit by decorating their dorms with festive cheer. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable weekend and the perfect start to the festive season.
