Year 2 Create Festive Crafts

Riding high on our fantastic performances in the Raggedy King Nativity, we have glided into a festive week of fun in the last week of term.

Creativity has been high as the children have created Christmas cards, decorated beautiful Angels that they cannot wait to hang on their Christmas trees and packed their Christmas bags with special goodies. With all this excitement, we have managed to include different cultures and languages. We now have a range of French words and phrases associated with Christmas. We have also had a chance to learn a variety of languages from Spanish to Chinese, when the EAL students came in for a festive afternoon of fun and games. The children loved the variety of different games they played and were so surprised by the many different traditions the EAL children could tell us about. Merry Christmas from us all!
